Talks: User-Interface, Multi-Core etc
Again some talks on the net I can recommend.
- Aza Raskin talks about how make user interface (and websites) better by reducing unnecessary interaction: Don’t Make Me Click.
- Amdahl’s Law in the Multicore Era: Interesting talk about multi-core efficiency. Basically its about an extended version of the famous Amdahls Law and draws good conclusions from it.
- Richard Dawkins interviews Randolph Nesse. The interview is intended to illustrate and emphasize the evolution theory and fight the silly creationism theory. That’s itself nothing that interesting, but this interview has lots of wonderful examples and explanations why our bodies aren’t perfect and work the way the work.
