{"id":57,"date":"2007-12-27T20:49:11","date_gmt":"2007-12-27T19:49:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gamlor.info\/wordpress\/?p=57"},"modified":"2021-03-11T09:43:45","modified_gmt":"2021-03-11T08:43:45","slug":"dead-like-me-movie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gamlor.info\/wordpress\/2007\/12\/dead-like-me-movie\/","title":{"rendered":"Dead Like Me Movie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m a fan of the TV-series &#8220;Dead Like Me&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0348913\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IMDb<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dead_like_me\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wikipedia<\/a>) and I&#8217;m waiting for the direct-to-DVD movie (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt1079444\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IMDb<\/a>), but I&#8217;m not sure what I should expect. On one side, I&#8217;m really exited and hope that the film will be as cool as the series.<\/p>\n<p>On the other side, I fear that it will be a debacle. First, Rube (Mandy Patinkin) the leader of the reaper-team isn&#8217;t in the movie. Second, Daisy is played by a different actor in the movie (played by Sarah Wynter) than in the series (played by Laura Harris). But the biggest concern is, that I will be a horrible movie, just made for getting the last penny from the fans. Brian Fuller, the creator, has already\u00a0 left the show after a few episodes due financial and creative differences. So the series had some up and downs in quality and some logical inconsequence&#8217;s.
