Daisy is desperately looking for a inexpensive flat. During flat hunting she regularly meets Tim in a tea house. In order to rent a nice flat, the two pretend to be a couple. This plan works and they move in. There, they get to know Marsha the permanently drunk landlady and Brian, an artist. Now Daisy, Tim and their friends fritter away (life-)time.
Spaced (IMDb, Wikipedia) is a really bizarre and quirky comedy. It’s full of movie and pop culture references, weird dialogs, strange stories and even stranger characters. This implies that the show isn’t necessarily suited for mainstream-audience due to its strange humor. That’s it, there nothing more to tell. You have to experience Spaced yourself =)
